Monsterz at M is for make!

Lots of new fabric again at M is for make this week, first up Monsterz by Cloud 9 fabric. I chose a selection of grey and minty prints from the collection, hope you like them. I rather love the raindrop prints which I am thinking about adding to my hexagon quilt, although they are a little late to the party. Which is your favourite?

Paying the price for a morning off, I missed my delivery of this fabric today, hopefully I will be able to share it with you on Monday.

Wishing you a happy (and hopefully like Brighton) lovely, sunny weekend,

Kate

Swimming in new fabric...

So much new fabric has arrived this week, I can hardly believe it. Some lovely Birch basics...

Beautiful, subtle grey roses from Lecien...

... and Woodland by Natalie Lymer...

I really love these bears in a line, the background colour is perfect...

And finally, rather exciting, I now stock the brilliant Warm and Natural batting. After using it on this quilt, I knew I had to stock it. I love that the natural batting uses no chemicals and it's the perfect thickness to snuggle under.

Washi by Rashida Coleman Hale

Such a busy week at M is for make with the arrival of 2 much anticipated collections. Next it is the turn of Washi by Rashida Coleman Hale. If the name sounds familiar, you may have one of Rashida's books or already follow her blog.
I love the colours and patterns in these prints and have been thinking about using it for my triangle quilt (if it ever makes it off the drawing board!) I think the star flower prints in particular will be really useful as they are a great near-solid pattern. But then I also love the floral print, it's hard to chose a favourite - do you have one?

New fabric in this week...

New in this week and with perfect timing if you are thinking about sewing for spring or summer, Sunshine linen by Dena Designs. I think this fabric would make a perfect dress, maybe a Crepe or a Peony.

Also, with several more prints to come from the 'Get Together' collection by David Walker there is this super cute birds print.

There are also some lovely retro prints (with more to come) from the To Market to Market collection by Marie Perkins from the Print and Pattern blog.
And the very springlike Modern Whimsy by Laurie Wisbrun, I think the rabbit print is perfect for Easter sewing.
I have a lot of collections coming soon to M is for make, you can find them here. One that is imminent though is Curious Nature by Parson Gray. The man behind this fabric is David Butler (husband of Amy Butler) these earthy neutral prints are really gorgeous.

New fabric in this week...

Just in, fabric for chicken fans. Also, some rather lovely linen blends that I think will be incredibly useful for all sorts of craft projects. It's a lovely weight, softness, drape, I think it would be great for dressmaking too.

Sooooo much new fabric in the pipeline, here's a little glimpse of some of it. Some of it is in the new 'coming soon' section in the shop incase you'd like an email when it arrives.

Taali by Monaluna is here!

So excited to share this new collection with you, Anika was extremely popular, and I think the prints in Taali are just as wonderful - which is your favourite? I think mine might be Hill and Dale, but it is hard to choose.
