Heirloom bag giveaway!

Yay - another giveaway. The lovely Emma from Sew Recycled made these brilliant bags for Making Magazine from one of my favourite fabric collections - Heirloom by Joel Dewberry.

The Pocket Folding Shopping bag is brilliant as despite being a great size, it folds into a tiny pocket. Perfect stashing in your bag ready for any unplanned shopping trips, if there is such a thing.

Emma is giving away the Tile Flourish bag on her blog, head over there now for a chance to win it.  I am giving away the beautiful Rose Bouquet bag, if you can wrestle it from my hands, I adore that print.

All you have to do is leave a comment below before 8pm GMT on the 18th March. Don't forget to enter on the Sew Recycled blog for the other bag.

Good luck!

Curious Nature by Parson Gray - and a giveaway!

New in to M is for make, the beautiful "Curious Nature" by Parson Gray.

If you would like to read more about David Butler, the designer behind Parson Gray then have a read of this great interview at True Up, there are some more gorgeous photos of the fabric to enjoy there too.

This collection is full of earthy, muted tones and has some of the best names for the prints and colours that I have seen in a while.
To celebrate the arrival of this collection, I am giving away a fat quarter bundle of all the prints shown above. If you would like a chance to win, all you need to do is leave a comment below before 8pm GMT on 7th March. I will pick a winner at random ... good luck!

Cat prints

My latest blog over at Boden is about how to do simple printing by making a stamp. Do go and take a look. It's such an easy way to make a really effective fabric print, I think I even surprised myself.

Make sure you use an oil based fabric paint, a first attempt with water based paint was rather unsuccessful.

I hope it's lovely and sunny where you are. Summer has finally hit Brighton. Well, for this week any way.

In further news, Loulouthi is on it's way to me... who fancies a give away?
